Poverty

Ah yes, the Poverty Freeloader Freecoaster..... Poverty is Danscomp’s parts brand. The brand is notorious for poor quality and cheap prices. But with the Freecoaster they have really succeeded. It really gained popularity because of Ian Schwartz’s use of it in his street riding. The coaster really shines because it is so smooth. It’s only real drawback is the strength of the axle (though it could be debated otherwise)

  • 14 mm
  • Bearing spring (similar to the KHE, but some versions are welded on)
  • Sealed
  • Approximately 31 ounces
  • $85
  • RSD
  • Thrust bearing to make it more smooth (Unique to Poverty).
