Primo

Primo’s first Freecoaster, the Son-Of-A-Bomb Freecoaster, was not the greatest success. The hubs seemed to have a tendency to break at some of the least convenient times. I have been searching for more pictures and information about this hub, so I will update the site as soon as I get it.

There has also been some rumors running around Primo making a new Freecoaster. There isn’t much information available right now, but it has been confirmed that it is being made.

Primo Bomb Hub:

They were made in the early 90s, not sure exactly when, it was no earlier than 91 but may not have come out until 94'. I never rode one myself but suffice to say they encountered problems and were discontinued quite promptly. I recall there being interest in them due to the 12t one piece driver and a 12 mm axle (most people were still running 14/16t cogs and 10 mm axles).
